Miyu Samura is at a loss as to how to deal with Singe, the toy poodle his ex girlfriend abandoned in his apartment. One day, he meets Shinichiro Niwa, a dog trainer. Immediately drawn to Niwa's exceptional skills, Miyu decides to work for him at his training studio Proud Dog. While his relationship with and training of Singe progresses, Miyu encounters families and dogs that come for training and gradually awakens to the deep connections between humans and animals. With the help of pet groomer Ritsuka and vet Suzunosuke, Miyu grows as a dog trainer and as a person.
