Realizing that Iori feels burdened over causing those around her to fight, Yuu and Nao, despite having their thoughts constantly being read aloud to each other, treat Iori to a pleasant day at an amusement park to prove they can get along with each other. Iori loses confidence after her power causes a couple to argue, but Nao remains determined to stay by her side and learns what might have triggered Iori's ability. She and Yuu visit Iori's friend, Honoka, who informs them of Iori's incurable disease, which will eventually take away Iori's ability to move. Honoka's selfish desire to isolate herself from her best friend's suffering agitates Nao, who lashes out at Honoka. Afterward, Honoka makes up with Iori, who resolves to do her best to survive her disease.

Hiroki Morita, the president of the social networking service mixi, announced on Tuesday that an anime adaptation of his company's Monster Strike mobile action role-playing game has been green-lit for broadcast this year. He added that a Nintendo 3DS version of the game is in development for release this year. He did not give any more details on both new projects during Monday's financial results presentation in Tokyo.

The cast of the Futsū no Joshikōsei ga Locodol Yattemita (Locodol or Normal High School Girls Tried Being Local Idols) anime announced on Saturday that production on a new original video anime (OVA) has been green-lit. According to the Mainichi Shimbun paper's Mantan Web site, the new OVA will be a sequel to the last year's television anime. The cast made the announcement at the "Dai-2-kai Shoka no Nagarekawa Matsuri" (2nd Early Summer Nagarekawa Festival) event.

Each of the boys specializes in his own Arts, and aims to make Hoshi Fes a success. In addition, the boys also aim to be chosen alongside Ohana as the school's Artista Prince and Princess, only chosen once a year.

The "cross-dressing romance" centers around Ai Shizukuishi, a shy, plain girl with not-so-great grades and a secret. She posted videos of her dancing in male clothes onto Smile Dōga (an homage to the real-life streaming service Niconico Dōga, which literally means "Smile Video"), and she became a viral hit. Ai aims to beat Hayate, the "godly" "prince of dance" on Smile Dōga. However, her cross-dressing dances happened to catch the eye of an entertainment agency, so she makes her professional debut — in an idol unit with Hayate.
