Montmorency is a nobleman devoted to the study of sorcery and alchemy at a royal knight training school in Paris. He’s used to a hectic lifestyle, but his fate, and that of his country, changes completely when France is defeated at the Battle of Agincourt. War leads to the school’s shutdown, and the newly wanted Montmorency flees to a village where he meets a mysterious young woman named Jeanne.
