A lone violin virtuoso. The power of harmony and friendship.

Aono Hajime is a violin virtuoso who stops playing in his first year at Middle School, after his violinist father abandons his family. But on his final year, Hajime rediscovers his joy of music teaching a classmate, and determines to return. At Umimaku High School, well-known for its school orchestra, Hajime encounters rivals and friends, and grows both as a player and person.

The orchestra members also grapple with their own problems with family or talent. Each must face his or her demons and rise to create harmony as one. An ensemble musical coming-of-age story.
