Can a pair of twin kindergarteners get by on their own?

Twins named Onei and Junichiro live in a town called Dongurizaka. Onei is pure and innocent girl with a wide and shiny forehead which everyone wants to rub for good luck. Junichiro is a book-smart boy, and tends to worry a lot. He also likes picture books and to play with beetles. They are living only by themselves, as their parents had to leave home and work overseas. However, this unordinary life style never seemed to bother the twins, as their unique and friendly neighbors are constantly looking after them. The story is filled with love and heartwarming surprises that take place in their daily life.
